My Life as a Housewife

For the last couple of months I've been a housewife and it's not all spa days and relaxation like it sounds like!  When Tyler and I got married we moved to Salt Lake to be closer to his job, which took me an hour commute away from mine.  I made the long trek for about a month and decided it wasn't worth it.  As a recent college graduate I had my head in the clouds a bit and thought it wouldn't be too much trouble to find a new job quickly- SURPRISE! that hasn't exactly panned out the way I thought.  So here I am, 3 months later playing housewife.  I have to admit somedays I LOVE it, other days I'm dying for someone to talk to.  Another reason I started this blog is because as I run my errands, clean the house, knit hats, scrapbook all over the family room and go through way too many shows on Netflix in the background of these activities, I think a lot.  A whole heck of a lot.  Sometimes I amuse myself, sometimes I just want to pose questions in the universe and see what comes back.  When Tyler comes home at the end of the day he gets barraged with everything I thought about while he was gone, questions, stories, random musings-many of which he really doesn't care about! This summer has been a summer of projects for me because of all the free time I suddenly found myself with. My sister taught me to crochet and I finally tackled my first blanket

I love this blanket! It took way too many hours, I actually started it back in November I think-like I said, way too long ago- and finished it in April right after I quit my job. Since then I've made several different things as well. My mom's ward collects donations for the Homeless shelter every year so I've made a few hats out of leftover yarn, I made my sister-in-law a blanket for her cute baby boy, more than enough dishcloths and kitchen scrubbies-basically I need to get out of the house more!  I love doing all of my projects, but a girls day wouldn't be remiss
